(IR-RMNI) Rimini Street provides support and software updates for regulatory compliance, taxation updates, payroll and financial updates, as well as application fixes and much more. This position is responsible for managing large Tax & Regulatory programs across Payroll and HR. This includes providing leadership, guidance and support to the AsiaPac Business Analysts/Product Owners as well as collaboration with respective Agile teams who are responsible for delivering legislative updates to a diverse client base within the region. This role reports directly to the Group Vice President, Business Solutions AsiaPac. The position will also ensure consistency and drive HR and payroll legislative changes across the respective product line streams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Managing the Product Owners and BAs that work on Scrum teams
  • Working with the Development and QA management to ensure collaborative management teams to help develop and guide a strategy using the Agile framework for the team
  • Communicate with clients and internal groups to help communicate what GPD does (and what it doesn’t do)
  • Managing budgets and reporting on fund allocation
  • Coordinating and running events and workshops as required
  • Gathering feedback and presenting insights
  • Understanding scope of work at a high level
  • Identifying opportunities for continual improvement
  • Developing industry partnerships
  • Ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld including the adoption of Rimini Street’s Agile framework
  • Ensuring that the team is able to make sure all HR and Payroll legislative changes are analysed accurately and delivered on time by the product line payroll streams to the ASIAPAC client base
  • Deliver exceptional service to the ASIAPAC client base ensuring any issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner and escalated promptly as required
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing medium to large IT or business projects or programs of work
  • Understanding of the development lifecycle
  • Minimum 10 years’ functional or technical experience in one of the following ERP product lines SAP or Oracle applications
  • Experienced in Agile (2 + years), preferably a Certified Scrum Master
  • Experience working in Jira for Agile (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Experienced (minimum 5 years) in managing remote teams preferably BA’s in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various teams based in the ASIAPAC region and globally as required.
  • Have a client focussed approach

  • Capable of leading and mentoring a team
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines, remaining calm under pressure
  • Masters or Degree qualified in Business, Business Administration, Management, IT, or Human Resources/Payroll
  • Certified Payroll Professional (nice to have)
  • Certified Scrum Master (nice to have, can train)
