CNC Programmer

• Position: CNC Programmer
• Salary: up to £50,000 DOE
• Location: St Leonards-on-Sea
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 1.30pm to midnight (40 hours)

Are you an experienced CNC programmer on horizontal and vertical precision engineering milling machines? My client, the leading global provider of high-quality vacuum equipment, has a new opening due to expansion for a CNC Programmer with setting and operating experience. Working on a fixed shift pattern, you will work on applications and manufacturing bespoke systems for exciting technological projects. The role includes:

• Setting workpieces, running direct and remote programs from engineering drawings, on both horizontal and vertical HAAS milling machines.
• Programming bespoke designs using CAM software and identifying any programming errors

Previous experience using multi-axis machines and having the capability of using various machine controls and conversational machine programmes, is a must. If you have experience in manufacturing within the Vacuum Science Industry, an HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering and an aptitude for team leading, please apply.
