Job Description As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring the completion of standard journal entries and managing the closing calendar to meet reporting deadlines. Additionally you will handle reconciliations for all monthend balance sheet accounts following established priorities to ensure specific reconciliations are completed within the monthly close timeframe. - 5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with multiclient environments and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficiency with various mortgage banking software solutions including AMB Loan Vision various LOS software and Excel skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to respond to and meet client requests promptly and professionally.
- Attentive to detail and able to meet hard deadlines without exception.
- Ability to recognize and protect confidential and sensitive information and exercise strict discretion when disseminating or sharing information.
- Complete standard journal entries and manage the closing calendar to meet reporting deadlines.
- Reconcile all monthend balance sheet accounts following established priorities for specific reconciliations that must be completed within the monthly close timeframe.
- Perform detailed analyses of various general ledger accounts as assigned.
- Review General Ledger activity for accuracy completeness and reasonableness interpret trends or deviations and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Prepare monthly closing schedule for assigned clients.
- Perform final review of client deliverables with Senior Management.
- Support various accounting and crossfunctional projects on an asneeded basis.
