Mechanical Proposal Engineer

Job Description

• Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and customer inquiries to thoroughly understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, and project management) to develop cost-effective and technically sound solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical sections of proposals, including system descriptions, specifications, and project timelines.
• Conduct cost estimations and manage project budgets.
• Create compelling presentations and other visuals to effectively communicate technical solutions to clients.
• Stay current on industry trends and technologies relevant to the company's offerings.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution, with a minimum graduation grade of "Good".
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in developing and writing technical proposals for complex projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor technical information for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
