Sales Development Representative

Job Summary: We are looking for a full time Sales Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mostly inbound leads client relationships and developing new business opportunities in the Australian market. This role involves working closely with crossfunctional teams to process inbound leads understand their needs and develop effective solutions that help them achieve their goals. Job Description:
- Identify potential B2B clients and build a robust database of leads.
- Initiate outbound communication through various channels including cold calls emails and social media to generate interest in our products and services.
- Conduct thorough research to qualify leads and understand their needs and pain points.
- Schedule meetings and demos with qualified leads to drive the sales pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records in our CRM system (HubSpot Salesforce or equivalent).
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless transition of leads to the Sales team.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and conversion.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative preferably in the Australian market dealing with IT/Software products.
- Proven experience in B2B lead generation and business development.
- A strong understanding of the Australian market and industry trends.
- Handson experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot Salesforce or similar tools.
- Effective verbal communication skills for phonebased interactions are crucial for this role.
- Demonstrated strength in sales with the ability to successfully close deals.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Quick learning
- Overview of web and app technologies is preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical knowledge is not required but would be a plus to have some knowledge
