Job Title: Italian Restaurant Kitchen Manager Location: Pasig Salary Bracket: PHP 50,000 - PHP 70,000 Our client, an esteemed Italian restaurant located in Pasig, is seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the culinary operations of their establishment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and a deep understanding of Italian cuisine. Responsibilities: Overall Kitchen Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant management to develop and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure menu items are cost-effective and align with the restaurant's concept and brand.
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure all team members adhere to food safety standards and maintain a high level of culinary skill.
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas, equipment, and storage facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and maintain hygiene and sanitation standards to uphold food quality and safety.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets for the kitchen department, including labor and food costs.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where necessary to optimize profitability.
- At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen manager role, preferably in an Italian restaurant setting.
- Proven track record of managing the operations of a busy kitchen and delivering high-quality cuisine.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and recipes.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
