- Leading the development and implementation of custom Shopify themes and apps to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Architecting and implementing solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborating with designers to ensure the integrity of the UI/UX design is maintained throughout the development process.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Optimizing website performance, including page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Integrating third-party systems and APIs to extend the capabilities of the Shopify platform.
- Conducting code reviews and providing mentorship to junior developers to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and Shopify development to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the stability and reliability of the e-commerce platform.
- Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide estimates, and deliver solutions that meet project timelines and objectives.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques.
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
- Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Shopify Plus certification is a plus.
