Job Search /Director of Curriculum – Green and Renewable Technologies Protocol are working with a leading FE College based in the East London area in their search for a Director of Curriculum – Green and Renewable Technologies on a FT permanent position. This college is one of the most leading and most succesfull vocational college based in London. They have been recognised by the Department for Education as the highest performing large FE college for the past 5 years and currnetly hold an impressive overall achievement rate of 91.2%. They have a stellar record of providing our students with the best opportunities to build great careers in a rapidly changing employment landscape. We are working with their Senior Leadership Team in their search for an experienced Director of Curriculum – Green and Renewable Technologies to be responsible for strategic direction, curriculum innovation, partnership building, staff teams, learner success and the management of capital and strategic initiatives to ensure the institute’s excellence in sustainable education and alignment with industry needs Role responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision that encompasses a range of disciplines, including Renewable Technologies, Rail Engineering, L3, L4 and L5 programmes in Engineering, Construction, Construction management, Digital Construction, such as Building information modelling (BIM). Construction Aided Design (CAD), Green Technologies and related sustainability fields ensuring they equip students with the skills needed for future industry challenges.
- Oversee the development and delivery of a comprehensive curriculum, including HTQs and L3, L4 and L5 qualifications, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment for staff and students
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with industry stakeholders, educational bodies, and governmental agencies to enhance the institute’s offerings and impact.
- Manage financial and physical resources efficiently, prioritising investments in programme development, staff enhancement, and student attainment.
- Teaching qualification at Level 5
- Leadership and management qualification
- Extensive experience in leadership and management within an educational or industry setting, with a proven track record in developing and delivering L4 and L5 programmes in Engineering, Construction, and/or related fields
- Significant experience in integrating renewable technologies and sustainability into curriculum development and industry partnerships
- Outstanding leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, direct, and develop high-performing teams
