In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better. As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical and technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products. You will assist the sales team in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. You are responsible for:- Demonstrates possibilities, train users, gives presentations, explain functionality, train users, customize systems and advise on the most optimal configuration for specific types of professional products.
- Develops own training plan for each customer.
- Manages implementation of new options and trials.
- Contacts users regularly about special wishes.
- Makes sure the product/system settings are at the highest level of performance.
- Adapts system settings as needed.
- Manages initial installations.
- Provides sales support by offering guidance to account management and customers.
- Set up application training schedules, in close cooperation with the customer.
- Train customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the delivered equipment.
- (re-)Train hospital staff in case of new releases and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment
- Ensure that all customers are provided with high quality training and attention so that each customer is fully satisfied with the attention received from Philips Healthcare (PH)
- Report to PH on difficulties in optimal usage of the equipment.
- Support user group meetings if / when required.
- Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support and advise the sales force during acquisition.
- Stay "on track" with the new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment.
- Be aware and to always manage the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health, and safety regulations. In the event of hazards or accidents, take immediate control of the situation and involve the safety advisor from the regional office.
- Ensure that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy.
- Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner.
- University degree in radiology technology in allied health discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology or Interventional Cardiology is a must have.
- Exposure or experience in delivering clinical training.
- Customer focused mindset.
- Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal guidance.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Strong collaboration skills in a multinational environment.
- Ability to travel extensively in the country and abroad when needed. Around 60-70% travel local and possible international.
