Lead Java Developer with API Production Support Position Description Job Title: Lead Java Developer with API Production Support Experience: 8 to 12 Years Category: Software Development Main location: Bangalore/Chennai Shift Timings: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM & 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM Position ID: J0324-0365 Your future duties and responsibilities • As a Java Lead, you will play a key role in L2 and L3 application development and production support throughout a project's lifecycle as well as contribute towards the application enhancements. • You will be required to provide research, analysis, design, execution, maintenance and / or support of continuous improvements that are appropriate to the application, solution and project as assigned. • You will report to, and take direction from the Project Manager. • You will interact with business stakeholders, business analyst teams, development teams, and senior management and client stakeholders. Required qualifications to be successful in this role • Should have hands-on with Java API and Applications • Should be willing to work in both Production support & Development • Ready to work in shifts. • Provide L2 production support to applications • Should be able to debug production issues and bug fixes. • Should be able to debug SQL queries. • Should have knowledge of scripting • Interact with customer & support team at Onsite • Provide value add to the project by providing some innovative ideas to enhance the application and improve the process. • Ensure all incidents and defects (problems) are accurately recorded and timely updated as per the Incident Management Matrix and SLA. • Maintain and support the integrity of systems/services within the remit by fully investigating all incidents and resolving them in a timely fashion, adhering to IT Service Management principles (ITIL).
