Datacom's ERP platform includes various technologies such as NetSuite, Oracle OpenAir, HCM, Boomi Middleware, Microsoft, and Cloud technologies. About The Role: As an Principal Engineer (Oracle) you will provide engineering and support to the company’s ERP team. You will also be responsible for but not limited to the following -
- Provide support to ensure system faults are rectified promptly.
- Develop technical solutions to meet ongoing business requirements.
- Enable users at all levels to perform their jobs effectively.
- Ensure business reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement of systems.
- Assist the organisation in the selection, development of and transition to new solutions.
- Build rapport and working relationship with teams within the business at both management and end user level.
- Prior experience with Oracle HCM implementation and support.
- At least 3 years of experience of Oracle HCM consultancy, implementing and supporting Core HR module.
- Prior experience in implementation and support of Absence Management module is an advantage.
- Ability to translate functional requitements to technical design.
- Ability to analyse business requirements and come up with Functional Requirements documents is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in Software Development Life Cycle.
- Prior experience with integration projects interconnecting Oracle HCM with other systems and applications. (Especially through web services).
- Intermediate with relevant tools/technologies: HCM Extracts, OTBI/BI reports, and HDL.
- Prior Experience with Oracle HCM Workflow configuration, alert configurations and setting user roles and privileges.
- Prior experience in Project Management and other Oracle applications such as OpenAir and NetSuite is an advantage.
- Ability to do both technical and functional consultancy is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business IT, Computer Science or related disciplines
- Professional certification in Global Human Resources (Core HR)/ Absence Management desirable
