Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a PricingCompliance Analyst reporting to our Pricing Manager. This role is critical tomaking sure how we price, and how we report is robust and innovative. It’sexciting times in the energy sector, and it’s important we get it right. - Ensure pricing and regulatory compliance by preparing,validating and maintaining data and related documentation
- Prepare pricing analytics for pricing categoriesand monitor other distributors’ pricing and pricing developments
- Produce customer connection number forecastingfor AMP through model development and liaising with the connections andplanning teams
- Perform various revenue and volume analysis
- Prepare annual reports, work books andcalculations for regulatory audits while also developing and maintaining anaudit plan
- Support the implementation of new pricingstrategies while collating historical data, cost allocations and industrytrends
- Previous experience in a similar role with arelevant tertiary degree in Commerce, Mathematics or Economics
- Be highly motivated, curious and open to newways of doing things, so you’ll need to think outside the box
- Advanced understanding of commercial principlesand attention to detail when producing high-quality modelling and data analysis
- Knowledge of the New Zealand regulatoryenvironment and how it applies to the electricity industry will be an advantage
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and complex environmentacross various cross-functional teams
