Job details

Contract role for 12 months (possibility of an extension based on performance) Overview DigiCert is a premiere provider of Digital Trust for a connected world, and we’re continuously raising the customer experience bar across our growing product portfolio to reflect our position as a global market leader. Are you a Senior UX Designer with experience translating complex SaaS use cases into elegant experiences that solve challenging pain points for customers and feel great to use? DigiCert builds solutions that enable our global customers to seamlessly manage trust across complex user and device landscapes, and we’re uniquely positioned to lead the industry in a post-quantum and AI-powered world. We’re looking for an exceptional and highly collaborative UX Designer who can synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, define and prioritize hypotheses, facilitate the ideation process across disciplines, determine how we’ll measure success, and help us deliver the MVPs that will take our business to the next level. This role reports to the Director of UX Design & Research and is embedded with the team driving a key product area for our business. You’ll collaborate with UX colleagues, PMs, engineers, and others from early ideation through production delivery. DigiCert is committed to building strong partnerships between disciplines and the successful candidate for this role is excited to invite others into the design process: it’s our mission to increase user-centered design fluency across every team so we can build the most customer-driven company in our industry. Key responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with UX peers, PM, engineering, and other disciplines to develop deep insight into our business and customers
  • Ensure user segmentation, journeys, and key workflows are detailed, prioritized, and understood throughout the organization
  • Synthesize insights coming from a wide range of sources into testable hypotheses targeting the problems that are most valuable to our customers
  • Lead your area of focus from ideation to the delivery of low- and high-fidelity flows and screens
  • Work effectively with DigiCert's visual design lead to help advance the maturity of our emerging design system and ensure all components and styles reflect brand standards, are WCAG compliant, and demonstrate excellent usability heuristics
  • With support from UX leadership, utilize relevant KPIs and metrics to connect user needs to business objectives so we can measure how focusing on the former achieves the latter
  • Ensure UX deliverables are fully integrated into product roadmaps and aligned with team sprints
Requirements:
  • Degree in a UX related field or equivalent experience; a minimum of 5 years in a core UX role with increasing responsibility (UX Designer, UX Researcher, UX Strategist, etc.) is required and B2B experience preferred
  • Experience with digital security, digital trust, or adjacent industries helpful
  • Comfort with (and passion for!) technical products that dive deep into complex, heterogeneous data sources
  • Passion to develop deep customer knowledge and subject matter expertise for your area of our business
  • Experience working with remote and distributed teams: DigiCert is an international company and we have teams across the globe
  • Comfort conducting discovery for both v1 and existing products, including usability testing, interviewing users and customers, facilitating design workshops, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data
  • Capable of producing detailed and comprehensive evaluations and recommendations based on usability heuristics, current patterns, and best practices
  • Familiarity with application analytics, A/B testing, and key metrics
  • An online portfolio providing insight into your process and reflecting the scope of your contributions to product development
