THE CHALLENGE As an Engagement Manager / Technical Project Manager, you will work on a team of client-focused solution deployment managers to tackle real-world business challenges. With equal parts client face time and technical delivery, this is a great opportunity for an experienced project manager with an analytics background to apply their problem-solving, leadership and hands-on technical skills to deliver high-quality solutions for clients. While this is a fully-remote role, successful candidates will be offered relocation to Demyst's future hub in India (TBD). As you will be supporting clients globally, you will be expected to align your working hours to the Australia or the US. Responsibilities

  • Lead and project manage the post-sale implementation of data initiatives across tier 1 clients (such as insurers and banks), engaging across a broad range of stakeholders
  • Gather disparate client requirements and organize into structured process flows in collaboration with internal (e.g., data engineers) and external (e.g., data vendors) implementation teams
  • Map designed workflows versus counter-factual approaches and quantify impact and benefits
  • Understand our product offering and recommend fit-for-purpose data solutions to new and existing clients to deliver business value
  • Build long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and functional managers; act as a trusted resource for understanding and solving their business challenges
  • Lead client-facing platform demos and collaborative data discovery workshops; guide new clients through onboarding to the Demyst platform
  • Influence Demyst's data and product roadmap as a proactive voice of the customer
Requirements
  • 3-5 years working in a client-facing role within a data-centric b2b solutions provider (e.g., within analytical consulting or SaaS/technology providers)
  • Experience managing complex projects related to data engineering, business applications, and/or system integrations; technical account management experience a plus
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills; ability to understand technical details while staying focused on business objectives
  • Strong communication skills; ability to translate and convey complex, technical concepts to business/non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience leading collaborative discussions with large groups of senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with business decisioning methods (e.g., CBA/ROI)
  • Exceptional technical project delivery track record, organization/prioritization skills, and work ethic
  • BA/BS (or MA/MS) in a technical discipline (e.g., computer science, engineering, data science, etc.) preferred
  • Strong background in data science, ML, and/or statistics (incl. experience using AI tools such as DataRobot, H20, Python, and AI frameworks like Spark, TensorFlow) preferred
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Willingness to align to US or AUS working hours
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests a plus
  • Industry knowledge of insurance and/or fintechs a plus
