Job Description :- Relevant Experience – Hands on experience in sourcing & development of Suspension & Brake System FSS & BTP Component Development. Job Responsibilities :-
- Analyze the part SOR/Design received from engineering for manufacturability of the part.
- Prepare Budget for Part cost & Investment.
- Release the SOR / RFQ to potential suppliers for Techno commercial proposal.
- Conduct Technical Review sign off along with Engineering & supplier.
- Prepare Should Be Costing
- Get detailed cost break up for part & investment. Negotiate & settle commercials.
- Process approvals to get Vendor On Board (VOB).
- Support for proto level part availability for build.
- Release Tooling kick off to supplier.
- Prepare Advanced Part Quality Plan (APQP) for every part to meet the timelines of vehicle build plan in partnership with supplier.
- Design validation plan sign off mentioning test start / end date as per Engineering agreed specification.
- Prepare part manufacturing planning at supplier end by creating process Flow Diagram, Floor Plan Layout, PFMEA, RPN reduction plan, tooling & Packaging specification, Tooling & Gauges review.
- Prepare Quality planning by creating Control Plan, MSA of Gauges, SPC.
- Plan PTR & Run @ Rate along with PPAP document review & PSW sign off.
- Periodic review with supplier, Engineering & SQE for continuous improvement & ECN management.
- Address component, assembly & vehicle field early warranty issues with Quality & service team.
- Identify potential Risks & challenges related to system & approach towards mitigation plan to ensure project delivery on time & within budget.
- Develop requirement MIS like - Supplier Evaluation/Panel, Budgeting, Technical Sign-off, Should be Cost, Vendor On Board, Tracking DVP&R / Development Time Plan, Error Proofing, Process / FTG / PPAP / PTR & APQP Reviews
- Identify VAVE ideas to get commercial advantage & adding value on product.
