Position: Oracle Apps DBA Location: India, Remote Support Hours: One month IST daytime and One month Night shift (5pm IST to 2am IST OR 6pm IST to 3am IST) Employment Type: Fulltime Experience: 5+ Years Key Skills: Oracle Apps DBA, EBS 11i, R12, Implementation DBA Support, Database Upgrades, RAC Implementation, Oracle Products Goldengate, MS SQL Job Description:

• Oracle Apps DBA Job requirement 5 plus years of experience
• Should be willing to work in 24/7 Support Model
• Should be passionate about being a DBA and should willing to extend work hours to meet the deadline challenges and fix the critical time bound issues
• Experienced in using all EBS utilities, good understanding of configuration files and architecture of EBS 11i and R12
• Experienced in Implementation DBA support
• Should we willing work towards Organization Goals
• Experienced in Database upgrades, RAC Implementation, should have very good understanding of database concepts and architecture
• Should be very good in scripting to aid in automation
• Should be aware and willing to work in supporting and implementing Oracle products such as Goldengate, SOA Suite, Weblogic, Agile, any 3rd party tool integration etc as per Client Business Requirements
• Should be able to build Solutions by referring to Oracle documentation
• Should have idea in Linux OS concepts of Install, User/Groups creation, understanding of system config files, changing and understanding of kernel parameters, understanding of huge pages, setup of FTP, NFS, Creation of partitions and mount points
• Should have good understanding of RAC concepts
• Should have good understanding of backup, recovery and high availability
• Must have experience with MS SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Client Management Skills
• Good presentation skills
• Independent and Self Motivated at work
• Should be flexible to resolve issues on Production at any time of the day
• Should be willing to work on Weekend support
