The Sustainability Analyst Intern is responsible for assisting in the preparation and development of JGS Sustainability Report. This includes data collection and analysis to determine effectiveness and progress of Sustainability programs towards Sustainability goals and targets. Duties and Responsibilities: · Collect data related to the economic, social, and environmental performance of an organization. · Follow up Strategic Business Unit (SBU) on Sustainability data submission to guarantee adherence to reporting timelines. · Analyze Sustainability data that includes but not limited to greenhouse emissions, energy consumption, water usage, waste generation and other relevant metrics. · Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports by proofreading and revising the narrative report and ensuring accuracy and completing indices that reflect alignment to global and SEC standards designed for investors, stakeholders, and compliance purposes. · Recommend areas of improvement on data collection methodologies and reporting processes. · Identify areas and opportunities for improvement and propose more sustainable practices to improve social and environmental performance. · Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Sustainability related courses like Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to meeting deadlines. · Demonstrated passion for sustainability and understanding of current trends and best practices. · Willing to collaborate across the conglomerate.
