Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland Auckland, New Zealand Te Pūriri o Te Ora is a directorate of Te Toka Tumai Auckland. Te Toka Tumai Auckland is part of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for the National Health Service of Aotearoa. Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. We enjoy being of service! Te Toka Tumai Auckland provides health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland. Regional services like Te Pūriri o Te Ora provide care for nearly 2 million people from Northland and the greater Auckland region, and specialist national services for the whole of Aotearoa including rarer cancer types. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland. Our Te Pūriri o Te Ora Medical Oncology staff see over 2500 new patients each year.
