What does the job look like? We are looking for an exceptional professional experienced Head of Shared Services to manage and oversee the development of best practice and standardization of financial administration and transactional processing functions across the business units of Linfox New Zealand. What you will do
- Manage the Customer Invoicing for the Transport and Warehouse operations
- Ensure the effective operation of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and related systems
- Manage the day-to-day workload, structure and training of the Shared Services team.
- Oversee Claims Administration
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement by challenging existing ways of doing business and investigating new opportunities for improvement.
- Managing all aspects of customer service in achieving quality outcomes.
- Strong leadership, networking and relationship building skills
- Extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Orders, Credit notes and other accounting/financial related processes.
- Commitment to the provision of excellent customer services, including the use of high level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, to liaise and negotiate with client groups
- Good analytical skills and sound judgment
- Proficiency in SAP or similar
- Tertiary qualification in management or accounting
