Associate Staff Engineer

Job Description

Code visually engaging and responsive email campaigns using HTML, ensuring compatibility across various email clients. Implement CSS styles that are supported in email templates to enhance design and layout. Utilize Liquid within our ESP Braze for data calls and conditional logic in email campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing team to understand creative visions and translate them into functional email designs. Work with React and JavaScript to develop and maintain our in-house email building app connected to our Git repo. Test and preview email campaigns within Braze to ensure optimal performance and deliverability. Interact with Figma/Sketch to receive creative guidance and export necessary images for email templates. Utilize project management tools like Asana to track work progress and ensure timely delivery of email campaigns.

Qualifications

1. Front End Developer certification or equivalent education.
2. Proven experience coding and testing emails across major email clients.
3. Familiarity with Braze or similar ESP platforms for email campaign management.
4. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Liquid, React, JavaScript, and Git.
5. Experience with Figma/Sketch for interacting with email designs and exporting images.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools is a plus.
9. Amenable to work from 5:00am - 2:00pm, Mondays to Friday.
