Server Administrator

Role: Server Administrator Experience: 6-10 years Location: Chennai / TN Work Mode: Remote (Must come to office On-demand basis) Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all aspects of our server infrastructure, including software, and operating systems.
• Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and performance across all servers.
• Implement security measures to protect our servers from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure, Google Cloud Platforms.
• Proficiency in various server technologies, including operating systems like Windows Server, Linux.
• Experience in all virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, Etc.,
• Experience in web servers like Apache server, Nginx, Microsoft Internet Information Services, Etc.,
• Strong knowledge and experience in Serverless computing platforms like AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, Etc.,
• Hands-on experience with Database servers such as MySql, Postgre SQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Etc.,
• Proficiency in various servers like Application servers, File servers, etc.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies, for all servers and resources.
• Configure and optimize server settings to meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate server systems with other technology platforms.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to improve server performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on server-related issues.

• Hands-on experience in server administration, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

• AWS SysOps Administrator certification
