Job Description

Product Owner Job Description Product Owners are the heart of Technology Product Management. You will have an opportunity to manage the development of different products from idea to delivery to ensure they meet the business needs and preferences. Your main duties include determining the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items, and deciding which features each product will have according to a client’s preferences. Responsibilities : 1- Project Clarification, requirement gathering, and availability
  • Requirement gathering and collaboration with the client
  • Documenting gathered requirements into a backlog as well-defined user stories
  • Extracting granular, track-able requirement pieces that can be closed within an iteration
  • Supervising defect reporting and fixing
  • Updating requirement completion progress in the tracking system
  • In collaboration with stakeholders defining product goals, product roadmap, and release plans
  • Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including cloud, database, analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
  • Managing and taking complete ownership of product backlog and helping with a sprint backlog
  • Providing a healthy feature/project delivery forecast by involving the team to get an estimation of the backlog
  • Ensuring a well-groomed product backlog for at least two months in advance
  • Entering requirements into a tracking system (JIRA, TFS, etc.)
  • Supervising support ticket reporting and handling
  • Ensuring client responsiveness within 24 hours
  • Ensuring good customer representation in the Scrum team
  • Ensuring quality of ‘Definition of Done’ according to the client's requirements and organizational standards
  • Excellent grasp of Agile and Scrum principles and practices
3- Project/Task reviews
  • Ensure an eye for detail (Grammatical, presentation issues, etc.) in the task and project reviews
  • Participation in sprint review meetings and sprint planning. Ensuring minutes of meetings are sent to all the stakeholders and concerned employees
  • Complete requirements: Reviewing and ensuring that client expectations are met by doing internal UATs of the stories
Requirements :
  • Advanced knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies
