Job Title: Senior Conversation Design Engineer Location: India Working Hours : 2 PM to 11 PM IST As a Conversation Design Engineer, you will deliver and optimize best in class digital, voice, and multi-modal applications for web, mobile, native apps, and IVRs, and will specialize in conversation AI technologies for our Fortune 50 enterprise customers. Your day may start with an internal stand-up call, review of a flow design from a Conversation Designer, and a meeting with the Product team to design a new feature for self-serve capabilities. Then maybe estimating the effort for a new journey design, followed by implementing a new design in our state-of-the-art platform by lunch, and finally walking a team of internal stakeholders through design implementation strategy plan you've completed by evening. You will apply your education and training in HCI, Application Design, UX, or other similar field, balance out technical development, research, creative work to challenge design conventions – in fact, we encourage you to set new ones. Job Responsibilities

  • Be an expert in various platforms such as [24]7 Engagement Cloud, MS Visio, and MS Excel
  • Build user journeys, prototypes, and rigorous conversational AI specifications
  • Perform prompt and model tuning exercises
  • Maintain intent and model data across platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Focus on metrics, analytics, KPIs to identity top optimization opportunities
  • Implement best in class voice prompts using nTTS and also manage existing platform audio recordings
  • Create and use custom reporting based on implementation needs
  • Closely work with Product team to improve the product through features and bug fixes
  • Create and maintain simple and complex grammars
  • Deploy A/B tests for new conversational interface features
  • Lead the implementation team to launch bot features and build new automation features with APIs
  • Dive deep to document & execute on requirements
  • Draw on depth of experience, but initiate research and testing efforts as needed
  • Speak authoritatively on concepts of spoken interaction design in daily iterations with product managers, engineers, and testers
  • Work closely with Conversation Designers on a daily basis to understand scope, requirements, and get UX sign off
  • Thrive in a nimble, multi-geostart-up like environment
Qualifications
  1. 4 - 7 years of professional experience in the human-computer interaction design field (UX, CDX, UI, etc.)
  2. Must Have 2 - 4yrs experience as a conversation designer using digital, voice or multimodal interfaces
  3. Strong, expert communication, especially written, and spoken language for primary application language, including prompt design best practices & strategies
  4. Multi-lingual a bonus
  5. Familiar with natural language, journey intent creation, API feature automation, user research and text analytics
  6. UX and CDX design experience including data-driven analytics
  7. A working understanding of speech and language technologies
  8. Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing
  9. Professional portfolio of UX, conversation, voice design
  10. Experience working on projects from inception to shipping product
  11. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Linguistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
