Fiber Operations Engineer

Job Description

1. Responsible for fiber operations and Fault management nationwide for timely fault resolution.
2. Manage partners/vendors on network outages or faults.
3. Drive stable network and service availability of fiber network within SLA through corrective maintenance and planned preventive maintenance.
4. Support fiber project rollout on design review and acceptance.
5. Involvement in continuous improvement plans in regards to fiber operation SOP, processes, contracts and way of working.
6. Reengineering and design review with technical domains.

1. At least 3-8 years experience in the IT/telecommunications industry or relevant working experience.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in a telco environment with fiber rollout and operations & maintenance.
3. Experience in fiber operations and maintenance will be a strong advantage.
4. Experience in managing network operations and maintenance programs, especially in Permitting Transport Fiber.
5. Extensive experience in cellular network implementation, in the context of operation & maintenance.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Experienced in managing internal and external stakeholders.
