Keywords Studios is a premier provider of multimedia content localization and audio production services. We have a new role opened within our Media & Entertainment Team.   We are looking for a resource coordinator for subtitling to join our media production team. As a resource coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the resources required for subtitling projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. Additionally, you will also take on the role of a quality team lead, overseeing the subtitling process and ensuring adherence to best practices and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and manage the resources required for subtitling projects, including linguists, translators, and subtitling software.
  • Collaborate with project managers to determine resource needs and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain a network of qualified linguists and translators for subtitling requirements.
  • Work closely with the Language Lead to provide feedback and guidance to linguists and translators to enhance the quality of subtitling work.
  • Support language related subtitling Q&A and help the PM team to prepare HBQ, QBR and all client facing documents.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as linguistics, translation, or media studies.
  • Proven experience in subtitling, ideally within the media production industry.
  • Strong knowledge of subtitling software and tools, such as OOONA, Subtitle Workshop, or EZTitles.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively manage multiple resources and projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of quality to ensure accurate and error-free subtitling work.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of linguists and translators.
  • Familiarity with different subtitling styles and guidelines for various platforms and regions.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, in addition to fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual production processes and industry standards.
