Work in the capacity of a global accountant role, managing all aspects of Financial accounting functions for multiple subsidiaries in the group. Responsibilities
- Work in the capacity of a global accountant role, managing all aspects of Financial accounting functions for multiple subsidiaries in the group.
- Generate Paycycle generation for local and overseas location employees.
- Process Payroll journals and payroll reconciliation in a timely manner.
- Manage Suppliers payments for multiple locations.
- Support Global team queries in regards to procurement, payments, bills.
- Sales Order Processing, Invoicing and attending to queries from Customers and Internal stakeholders.
- Process Employee Expense report reconciliation and payment.
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts monthly.
- Transfer Pricing calculation and Intercompany invoicing process.
- Responsible for month-end closing and preparation of Income statements and monitor revenue and cost variance analysis.
- Ensure all end of month closing are achieved within targets, effectively leading monthly, quarterly, year-end activities with the global team.
- Processing balance sheet reconciliations for all subsidiaries and review with the Manager.
- Complying with federal, state, and local legal/tax requirements by maintaining compliance documentation and maintaining historical records by filing documents electronically.
- Staying informed on Accounting standards, tax filing, HR standards, and other related government regulations and developing and documenting policies and procedures.
- Year-End Audit and other ad hoc audit.
- Handle Finance Projects that may be assigned from time to time.
- Document and update processes and workflows.
- Provide general accounting support tasks (payables, receivables, journals, etc.).
- Assist with ad hoc reporting for internal and external needs.
- Act as a backup for the Finance Administrator.
- B.A. or B.S. Degree in Finance/Accounting, Professional Qualification, CA,or CPA highly desired (or actively pursuing qualification)
- Good Knowledge of Accounting standards, GAAP, IFRS and taxation knowledge.
- Good knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP software.
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a global role.
- High proficiency in Excel, MS Office and Google Suite.
- Detail-oriented & thorough. Accuracy is a priority, willing to go to great lengths to provide accurate data.
- Autonomous, able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and teamwork skills.
- Capacity to adapt quickly and use different systems/technologies.
- Excellent understanding of internal control concepts and experience evaluating and determining the adequacy of controls by considering business and technology risks in an integrated manner.
