JOB DESCRIPTION As our Content Creator, you'll play a pivotal role in curating our online presence, ensuring consistency with our brand identity and engaging our community effectively. From developing compelling content to analyzing performance metrics, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and strategic thinking while staying abreast of the latest trends in social media marketing. - Content Creation: Develop compelling and relevant content for our social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and audience preferences.
- Social Media Schedule: Create and maintain a comprehensive social media schedule, detailing posting frequency, content themes, and timing for each platform.
- Coordination with Design Team: Collaborate closely with our design team to ensure visual assets complement the content strategy and brand identity.
- Post Scheduling: Utilize Hootsuite or similar tools to schedule and publish posts across various platforms according to the established schedule.
- Video Creation: Conceptualize, shoot or compile, edit, and publish videos tailored for TikTok, Facebook and Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts aiming to resonate with our target audience and enhance brand visibility.
- Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, interact with our audience, and respond to comments/messages to foster positive relationships and brand loyalty.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, features, and best practices to optimize our social media strategy continuously.
- Additional Marketing Responsibilities: Contribute to various other marketing activities as assigned by the Marketing & Communications Manager, playing a crucial role in the organization's overall success.
- Experience: Up to two years of experience in creating social media video content and managing social media accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Video Editing Proficiency: Mastery of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, or similar tools, specializing in crafting short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Creativity: Demonstrated ability to craft visually compelling stories and execute creative concepts that resonate with our target audience, leveraging platform-specific features and trends.
- Social Media Algorithms: Understanding of social media algorithms and proficiency in implementing best practices to maximize reach and engagement on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in content creation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly with designers for asset creation, and openness to integrating feedback into content iterations.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Continuous Learning: Eagerness to stay abreast of emerging trends, features, and best practices in social media marketing and video content creation.
- Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and strategies, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in content creation techniques.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying ideas, collaborating with team members, and engaging with the online community.
