Application Engineer - Power Electronics

Requirements Responsibilities:

1. Topology Research: Research and define power electronics topologies based on our products, leveraging your expertise to innovate and optimize designs.
2. Applications Development: Design, develop, and optimize applications using our products, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
3. Application Boards Design: Design and develop application boards using our products, incorporating the latest technologies and methodologies.
4. Algorithm Development: Develop algorithms to automatically optimize design applications using our products, streamlining the design process and enhancing efficiency.
5. New Product Development: Assist in new product development and research of new applications for both new and older generations of our products, contributing to our ongoing innovation efforts.
6. Design Evaluation: Evaluate designs built using our products, conducting thorough circuit evaluation, simulation, and computation to ensure compliance with design specifications.
7. Technical Support: Provide design documentation, training materials, and technical support to users and customers, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need.
8. Customer Support: Provide design support and technical advice to our customers worldwide, helping them meet their design requirements and solve technical challenges.
9. Technical Publications: Research and write technical application materials for publication and presentation, contributing to our industry knowledge and thought leadership.
10. Event Support: Provide support and materials for conferences, exhibits, industry sessions, seminars, webinars, trade magazines, and data books, representing our company and products.

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge or experience in power converters, resonant converters, inverters, motor applications and control, programming, firmware/software development, power electronics design, testing, evaluation, switching power supplies, electronic equipment usage, control loop design, magnetics design, EMI/ESD/surge/thermal considerations, PCB layout and design, and circuit simulation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience in creating design specifications, technical reports, and test plans/instructions.
• Experience in designing power electronics circuitry for industrial equipment or consumer devices is desirable.
• Background or experience in programming is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and be trained, with openness to detailed discussions, suggestions, and planning.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
