Job Title : Admissions Officer Location : Delhi, India. Organisation: UNI APPLICATION PORTAL LTD (UAP) Overview: The Admission Officer is responsible for managing the admissions process and providing exceptional support to prospective students throughout their application journey. The role involves assessing applicants' qualifications, guiding them through the application process, and ensuring compliance with admission criteria and regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Application Management: Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, and supporting documents to determine eligibility for admission.
  • Admission Counselling: Provide personalised guidance to prospective students, assisting them in understanding program offerings, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Student Support: Offer comprehensive support to applicants, addressing inquiries, and concerns promptly via various communication channels (email, phone, in-person).
  • Admission Interviews: Conduct admission interviews with prospective students to assess their motivation, aspirations, and suitability for the institution.
  • Admission Policies and Regulations: Stay updated with the institution's admission policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, always ensuring compliance.
  • Collaboration with Academic Departments: Collaborate with academic departments to understand program-specific requirements and ensure seamless communication with prospective students.
  • Events and Outreach: Represent the institution at recruitment events, education fairs, and school visits, promoting the institution's programs and offerings.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicant data in the admissions database.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyse admissions reports, presenting data on application trends, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Admission Decision Making: Make informed and fair admission decisions based on applicants' qualifications, ensuring a diverse and talented student body.
  • Orientation Support: Assist admitted students with the orientation process, helping them with course registration and other pre-arrival formalities.
  • Enrolment Coordination: Collaborate with the enrolment team to facilitate the enrolment process for admitted students.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and actively contribute to enhancing the admissions experience for applicants.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous 2 plus years of experience in admissions, student recruitment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of educational programs and admission requirements.
  • Familiarity with admission software and database management.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service to students.
