What is the role we hiring for?
As an experienced Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the IB

with other teams in the organization.
You ensure that the application runs smoothly without any production disruptions. When issues
do arise, you resolve them quickly and prevent them from happening again by implementing
structural and robust solutions.

creation/execution/maintenance of Azure YAML based pipelines, Azure KeyVaults etc).
• You have a background of working agile, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• You have experience with containerized (ICHP hosted) applications, using Docker,
Kubernetes.
• You have experience with RedHat Openshift.
• You have an intrinsic drive for innovation and automation.
• You have working experience with ITIL processes (change-, incident- and problem
management), and relevant tooling.
• Excellent communication skills and a great team player.
• You have a great interest in experimenting with new technologies and tools and able to
implement those.
Nice to have skills :
• Basic knowledge of API’s / microservices (preferably using the ING Merak framework).
• Experience with Test Automation.
• Scripting (Bash, Python, and similar) skills.
• Working knowledge or understanding of ITRMP Controls (RISK management).
• Experience on ING Private Cloud (IPC).
• Working knowledge on writing Ansible playbooks.
Who should apply?
At ING, we promote diversity not just because it is the right thing to do, but because it’s essential
for delivering on our strategy. To stay a step ahead we need teams with a healthy mix of
contrasting perspectives and backgrounds as they are more creative, faster to adapt and more
inventive with their solutions. We strive to hire a workforce as diverse as the communities in
which we operate, and we will consider every application, regardless of race, religion, color,
national origin, sex, disability, or age.
If you are an experienced Ops Engineer with a proven track record of managing applications in a
containerized environment, who loves to automate and maintain end to end ecosystems, we
would love to hear from you!
