The Role And What You’ll Do: Acting as part of the IT Global Development team, the Business Analyst will collaborate with and support Business Application Managers in delivering software solutions in line with business requirements and timescales. You will carry out requirements elicitation, create structured project and training documentation, compile compliance related artefacts and perform smoke testing. The role will be based offshore in Bangalore or Mohali, India and requires the successful applicant to work with colleagues in different timezones – India, the United Kingdom and the United States.   • Collaborate with Application Managers for new and inflight projects: -Participate in analysis tasks, including requirements gathering;-Be responsible for documenting and specifying requirement ;-Be responsible for process, dataflow and data migration mapping;-Collaborate in specifying UAT scripts and facilitating UAT sessions;-Influence UX/UI and graphic design process;-Be responsible for documenting meeting summaries/notes;-Collaborate in project reporting;-Be responsible for the collation of compliance/audit documentation and evidence;-Participate in smoke testing;-Be responsible for documenting user guides/training material;
  • Be responsible for post implementation product maintenance and support. This includes: -Transition from inflight project support to become the key liaison with the business to discuss and understand any issues or change requests raised;-To become a custodian for the product(s) and to act as the functional subject matter expert ;-To document any change requests in well-defined user stories and to follow internal protocol for review and approval;-To create and maintain training documentation to ensure it is kept up-to-date with product enhancements;-Be responsible in monitoring and resolving application issues (assigned) raised through our corporate helpdesk;-Investigate problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions to take, be it escalation or further investigation;-Liaise with the application managers and solutions teams when necessary to resolve issues requiring more specialized intervention
You Have These:
  • As a minimum, educated to a degree level
  • At least 5 years corporate experience working for a large enterprise
  • Excellent command of the English language in both verbal and written communication
  • Solid understanding of SDLC
  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project & MS Visio
  • Experience in a ticketing management software such as Jira
  • Basic requirements elicitation, documentation and management
  • Established experience as a Product Analyst, Product Manager, Business Analyst or similar role with a proven experience of supporting complex enterprise sales or operational systems
  • Experience with working with international cross functional teams
  • Experience in documenting functional requirements/requests
  • Experience in working with commercial software applications such as CRM, ERP, etc
Desirable qualities include:
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
  • Working with major project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2 etc.)
  • Experience in Power BI
  • Working knowledge of the sales and marketing industry

Please note this role works Monday to Friday 10am – 6.00pm (IST), Extended working hours will be required from time to time, especially for assigned US based projects (EST/PST), for this no overtime will be paid.
