Technical Trainer Department : Skills and Development (BP64031) JobOverview UD Trucks isknown for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercialautomotive industry. The technical trainer will be responsible for on-the-job training (practical and theoretical) of assemblers for them to carry out assembly activities in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with production requirements. Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Prepareand conduct technical training programs for assemblers.
- Assesstraining needs and certification requirements.
- Deploytraining to targeted personnel.
- Preparetraining material and classroom agenda.
- Prepareand Conduct presentations.
- Createinstructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructionalmaterials, and training aids).
- Continuouslyenhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
- Mentorteam leaders in the subject matter, content, and course deliverytechniques for assigned technical courses.
- Ensurethe quality and consistency of course content throughout a course lifecycle.
- Testprocess with different subjects.
- Managethe training program in accordance with business needs, regulatoryrequirements, and Quality Management System.
- Supportwith recording of training.
- Performance details are to becollected from process owners and provided to HR to update in employeepersonnel file.
- The trainer to performTechnical-training-related assessments and observe as per the assessmentreference guidelines.
- National Diploma in Engineering or related qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of truck assembler experience.
- ODETDP qualification with facilitation, assessing and moderation.
- Exposure to an Assembly plant.
- Must have good communicationskills.
- Exposure to Assembly productionprocess control system.
- Exposure to Supervisoryenvironment (Advantageous)
- Exposure to mechanical environment (Advantageous)
- Knowledge on handling assembly tools and equipment,
- Should have willingness and participate in constant learning and coaching trainees.
- Ability to listen to the customer, identify and predict their needs.
- Knowledge on plan, organise and deliver training and training concept.
- Analyse and provide practical feasible alternatives (term, quality, effectiveness), aiming not only at the specific demand, influencing the effectiveness.
- Knowledge to analyse requirement and transmit to trainees - the technical, functional, product performance and connected to the assembly characteristics.
- Product knowledge according to their technical, functional, performance and assembly characteristics.
- Workdiscipline, time and quality and safety consciousness.
