Desired Skills: Financial management in E-commerce industry Experience: 7-11 Years Location: Philippines (Remote) About the Role We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated finance director to manage the day-to-day finance needs of a growing brand. The majority of our revenue and finance activity is related to e-commerce, but expanding revenue lines of business include wholesale and licensing. The role is remote, but will need to interact with ease during Pacific Standard Time working hours. Responsibilities Profitability tracking and reporting
- Gross margin tracking and reporting (bi-weekly)
- Operating expense trends (monthly)
- Overall profitability tracking vs budget (monthly)
- Review of lender reporting including covenant compliance and borrowing base (monthly)
- Support for quarterly Board meetings and occasional bi-weekly Board calls
- Financial forecasts
- Ad hoc analysis
- Weekly update of 13-week cash flow and update forecast as needed (weekly)
- Process weekly check runs in line with cash forecast (weekly)
- NetSuite GL management including all Journal Entries
- AP and vendor payments
- AR and invoicing
- Month-end close
- Year-end tax and financial review (with partner CPA firm - KBF)
- Sales tax filings and compliance (Avalara collects and files sales tax reports)
- Banking and bank recs
- Company credit card expense tracking and management
- Monthly/quarterly commission reports.
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual royalty receivables invoicing
- State-by-state financial reporting, for example, I know we have to file an annual report in many of the states we are registered in and most come with a tax of some sort
- Financial management of donations - ensuring we have donation receipts, etc
- 7+ years of accounting and financial management experience
- E-commerce experience
- Must be proactive and detail-oriented
- Work Pacific Standard Time hours
- Work from home
