General Accountant

Job Overview The General Accountant will manage the full set of accounting books of the company and record all financial transactions to generate the Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Comprehensive Income. This position will also be responsible for the recording of monthend and yearend adjustments accrual entries allocations foreign currency translation gain or loss and formulation of reliable accounting estimates. Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all accounting processes such as AP AR Inventory and GL plus monthly and annual closing of books of accounts.
2. Organize all company financial requirements and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
3. Analyse financial reports and prepare forecasts as needed by the company.
4. Provide all needed data documents and other information needed by the external auditory such as schedules of revenue and expense accounts and all balance sheet accounts.
5. Monitor account reconciliation safekeeping of all internal expenses of the company and provide all the data needed by the Compliance team for all government regulatory reports.
6. Evaluate the current accounting methods and processes and formulate or design improvements as needed by the company.
7. Prepares all the reports needed by the Board of Investments (BOI).
8. Performs other related duties as may be assigned.

• Experienced working in a BOI registered company is a plus.
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience handling GL accounts or knowledge in the preparation of a complete set of financial reports.
• Experience in project management and change of management is strongly preferred.
• Significant experience working with external auditors internal controls and compliancerelated issues.
• Experience working in a growing startup environment scaling up accounting and finance operations.
