Job Description:

We are currently seeking Automation Testers for a contract position in Cape Town. This role requires individuals who are proficient in automation testing and have a strong understanding of software development processes.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts
  • Identify and report software defects
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure quality software delivery
  • Conduct regression testing
  • Create test plans and test cases

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing
  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Software Testing or related field
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Working Conditions:

  • This is a hybrid role, with a combination of remote and on-site work
  • Contract position with full-time hours
  • Only open to South African Citizens
