JOB OVERVIEW The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and bookkeeper will be responsible for the financial health and strategic planning of the company. They will provide leadership and direction in all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The CFO will work closely with the Principal and other members of the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectives. JOB SCOPE
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, policies, procedures, and systems to support the company's overall goals and objectives
- Oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Manage the company's financial performance and provide regular reports to the members of the executive team
- Manage multiple QBO platforms and all AR/AP
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws
- Identify and manage financial risks
- Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, and other financial institutions
- Oversee the work of the finance department, including accounting, tax, and treasury
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments as needed
- Oversee procurement process and support PM with ordering, tracking and delivery
- Manage and oversee all expense reporting
- Supervise vendor relationships
- Supervise accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- General AR/AP
- Bookkeeping and all QBO transactional mgmt
- Examine the organization's operations and determine if cash flow is appropriate
- Ensure the integrity of a company's financial information and suggest improvements
- Manage procurement, ordering tracking, and delivery of all items purchased for client invoicing
- Run Bi-weekly payroll
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the professional services industry
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and management abilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations or equivalent
- On a scale of 1-5 (5 being highest), please rate your proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
