ROLE SUMMARY Our client is looking for a Document Specialist I who will support the Legal and Pre-Litigation Departments in identifying, gathering, and assessing patient account documents and information for use in all phases of the account resolution process. SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays POSITION TYPE: Full Time WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with document collection, production, organization, and management
  • Assist with the maintenance and manipulation of document databases for purposes of facilitating productions, preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations
  • Assist with the utilization of E-Discovery applications for purposes of document management and production including redacting and Bates stamping
  • Assist with routine preparations for and at trials, arbitrations, and mediations including updating indices, chronologies, logs, and tracking systems
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, printing, and organization of documents and information
  • Work with RPA applications
  • Maintain quality and productivity standards as set by management
  • Influence others using a positive approach
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Perform special projects as requested
  • Ensure compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
  • Understand and comply with legal stands and protocols related to privacy
  • Maintain documents in compliance with the firm's document retention policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred
  • Relative experience is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentially on all levels (tact and good judgment in confidential situations)
  • Must be innovative, agile, and committed to the success of the firm
  • Has integrity and can demonstrate a professional demeanor
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
