Head of Engineering

E-mel Lead, direct & oversee multidisciplinary engineering deliverables as well as plan strategies, controls, and guidelines to meet the requirements of the project. Accountabilities:

• Oversee the design and documentation of all engineering works to achieve short and long-term engineering projects goals.
• Guide engineering team and uphold the accuracy and quality standards to ensure compliance and adherence.
• Drive and oversee the engineering operations so as to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of services in meeting the overall business plan.
• Oversee and drive the management of projects including technical report writing, supervision of drawing production, project progress reporting, contract administration and quality assurance activities.
• Provide guidance on rules & regulations pertaining to all engineering disciplines to ensure that the project meet the legal guidelines, environmental directives, and HSE requirements.
• Supervise, review, lead and develop engineering subordinates for continuous improvement, professional development, and career path planning.
• Lead and oversee related project estimation and budget preparation.
• Collaborate with other department to ensure engineering and project compliances.
• Monitor and control operating cost and budget to ensure all expenditure are in line with company’s financial target.

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years working experiences in a complex project, execution of planning, construction and project management / Detail Engineering / EPCC for offshore/onshore oil and gas production/transmission /storage tank facilities, petrochemicals, marine facility, or industrial manufacturing plant projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience in managing diverse engineering disciplines with proven track record of successfully overseeing significant teams, including discipline leads, and possesses a deep understanding of handling highly complex projects.
• Familiar with relevant codes, standards, and industry practices.
• Capable of managing contracts with clients and contractors/vendors.
• Capable of maintaining client/contractor and government agencies relationship.
• Capable of implementing project construction/schedule controls.
• Establish project HSE targets, monitor and control project HSE performance.
• Establish project quality goals, monitor and control project quality performance.
