Senior Proposal Writer - US RFPs

********************* US Government Bid writing experience is Mandatory************************************************* US Government Bid writing experience is Mandatory**************************** We are looking for a senior proposal writer who has extensive experience in writing proposals for US-based city, state, and federal government RFPs for providing IT consulting and staffing services. This position would be the first hire for the organization that would focus on winning government bids. The candidate is expected to advise, guide, and help the firm build out the US government IT consulting and staffing business. Location:

• 100% Remote (Anywhere in India)

• Competitive Base Salary + Gross Profit % share on winning proposals

• Bachelor’s degree (Advanced Degree Preferred) in English, Writing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field required.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience in writing proposals for US government city/state/federal RFPs.
• 3 years of experience in writing proposals for IT services and staff augmentation RFPs.
• Proven ability to be self-motivated and work individually as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Research available US city, state, and federal government bids related to IT consulting and staffing RFPs.
• Manage the full proposal lifecycle – from initial solution development, proposal writing, final editing and compliance assurance, production, and submission.
• Both develop and manage compliant and compelling proposal content in accordance with RFP requirements.
• Use technology-based tools and software programs (e.g., Teams, Zoom, SharePoint) for proposal communications, collaboration, scheduling, and development.
• Ensure that all information is consistent with the organization’s brand message, value proposition, business objectives, and style standards.
• Support the development and production of marketing material
• Must Work with at least 40-50% overlap with US EST hours.
• Must be able to work late hours/weekends periodically throughout the proposal process to submission
