Company Description Steel Detailer Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Steel Detailer at Blanco Steel Detailing. The Steel Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for structural steel components. They will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and precise detailing of steel structures. The role also involves interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, conducting site visits, and collaborating with the project team. Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or other steel detailing software
- Knowledge of structural steel components and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualization
- Understanding of building codes and regulations
- Associate degree or vocational training in drafting, engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in steel detailing is preferred
