About Winona: Winona is one of the leading telemedicine companies providing HRT for women in menopause. We’ve built all of our technology in house including an EHR, patient care admin system, patient portal, website, marketing technology etc. Winona has two compounding pharmacies and a team of in house physicians providing world-class care via a fully vertically integrated business model. About the role: Winona is looking for a dynamic and motivated remote full-time Public Relations Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team. The Public Relations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of public relations initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation and promote its services within the healthcare industry. Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and communication materials.
  • Monitor media coverage, compile press clippings, and prepare reports.
  • Support coordination of media interviews, press conferences, and events
  • Manage and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and media outlets.
  • Organize and maintain PR files, documents, and archives.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling and calendar management.
  • Research and identify suitable podcasts for Winona, coordinating outreach efforts.
  • Utilize Muck Rack to identify relevant journalists and assist in pitching.
  • Craft personalized pitches tailored to journalists, enhancing outreach effectiveness.
  • Track progress of podcast appearances and outreach efforts meticulously.
  • Research PR-related events and venues, contributing to event coordination.
  • Maintain comprehensive outreach efforts for bi-monthly reporting, compiling data.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in PR or Marketing.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages.
  • Experience working with media relations, including pitching and managing inquiries.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and tools.
  • Familiarity using ClickUp.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Nice-to-haves:
  • Background in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
  • Experience working in a PR/Marketing/Events agencies.
  • Experience organizing/mounting events.
