Schbang’s Bangalore branch (or as we call it “Schbangalore”) is looking for a full-time Corporate Communications & Community Engagement Advocate to join our Core Team. You will be playing the multifaceted role of nurturing, promoting, and representing our talented Schbangers by championing a broad scope of projects to engage, solve problems for, and be the spokesperson for our community in Namma Bengaluru . - Work on developing localized newsletters, social media videos, blogs, case studies & other exciting content that celebrates & informs both internal as well as external stakeholders about the work our teams in Bangalore are undertaking for our partners
- Communicate new initiatives, systems, SOPs, policies & other critical information to our employees in an empathetic, timeline & creative manner to drive the message clearly & improve morale
- Go out into the field once a week to engage with future applicants on campuses or institutes, vendors, NGOs & potential partners, spreading the word & collecting insights to drive our business initiatives
- Collect, own & analyze data from various sources like client feedback surveys, KPI reports, manager satisfaction surveys, etc. to identify patterns & trends that can help us solve gaps or drive organizational improvements for employees
- Suggest & spearhead initiatives, events, or activities that address given problem statements like reducing attrition, fostering high-performing talent, or improving comradery & morale in the office
- Understand the training needs of our teams & coordinate with the Academy Team to arrange targeted sessions that help Schbangers upskill in areas that they want to or need to based on feedback data
- Use the case study or newsletter material created for communications to develop learning material that can be circulated to both celebrate & learn from each other's work in Bangalore
- 2+ years of full-time experience in a hybrid, all-rounder, or Founder’s office role which involved corporate communications, planning & coordination
- Ideally worked in startups, marketing/ad agencies & other fast-paced environments
- Passion for & knowledge of driving organizational culture - a track record in solving business or organizational problems as part of Core or HR Teams
- Exposure to training modules - needs to have a basic understanding of how to conduct L&D programs for an organization
- Be excellent & polished in their communications, showing empathy & clarity
- Have a track record of solving problems & launching new initiatives or systems at their previous workplaces
- Be open to taking on new responsibilities outside their comfort zone - we’re looking for intrapreneurs here!
