Mergers and Acquisitions - Analyst

Summary: Danescor is a leader in the fast-developing market of Internet Investment Banking (IIB) operating across the US and Europe providing investment banking services to mid-market corporates seeking to acquire, sell or raise debt or equity finance. This is an opportunity for high caliber individuals to join us as we progress with ambitious growth plans across our operations. You will support the delivery of professional services to retained investment banking corporate clients in the UK and Europe, which uses a cutting-edge M&A platform. The position will involve client interaction and project delivery, ultimately reporting to the team leader and manager. The successful candidate will be involved in company research, information memoranda production, valuation analysis, report generation, buyer or acquisition target research, industry and competitive analysis and project campaign execution. Responsibilities include: • Researching industry sectors, analyzing companies and financial statements/performance • Researching and profiling of buyer & target corporates • Assisting in end-to-end M&A assignments/project management both buy and sell-side • Supporting & aiding in capital raising assignments/project management i.e. acquisition funding, LBO etc. • Supporting & performing business and sector valuations backed up financial analysis, valuation modelling and report generation • Assisting in the development of client/marketing materials including financial models, confidential memorandum, and presentations • Supporting Senior Associates in strengthening client/partner relationships and ongoing delivery of project tasks Qualifications and required skills: • Four-year degree in finance, accounting or other equivalent field of study required from a top tier institution. • Advanced degree and/or similar professional qualification (MBA, CFA, ACCA)• 0-1 years of relevant investment banking, M&A, or similar corporate experience • Superior analytical skills including an aptitude for financial modelling • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)• Ability to deliver in a deadline-oriented environment • Detail oriented and able to multi-task • Exceptional work ethic and integrity • Demonstrate the ability to provide insights and add value to clients • Fluent in additional European language is advantageous • Experience obtained from working within an international organization is preferred Disclaimer • UK time zone office operating hours. • Only applications submitted with a cover letter demonstrating relevant and applicable experience, will be considered. • Due to the volume of applications received there may be a delay in receiving a response. • Danescor does not use external recruiters, all roles are posted by the company.
