Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Consultant with a strong focus on business development to join our team. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new and existing clients, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in business development within the consulting industry. Responsibilities: Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target markets based on industry trends, client needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define business development objectives, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Understand client needs and objectives to tailor consulting solutions and proposals that address their specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights, thought leadership, and industry expertise to drive value and foster long-term partnerships.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and prospects through research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage potential clients and nurture leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and pitches to articulate the value proposition of our consulting services and win new business.
Proposal Development and Negotiation
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and contract agreements in collaboration with the consulting team and subject matter experts.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and secure new business opportunities.
  • Track and manage the proposal process, including follow-up activities and feedback collection, to ensure timely closure of deals.
Market Intelligence and Insights:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to inform business development strategies and initiatives.
  • Share market insights and thought leadership content through presentations, articles, and networking events to position the firm as a leader in the industry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a senior consultant or business developer in the recruitment consulting industry, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding client relationships.
  • Strong track record of success in business development, including lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior-level clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a focus on identifying market opportunities, developing business strategies, and executing plans to achieve objectives.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and achievement of business goals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools and technologies.
