Vice President Offshore Delivery Operations

Mirketa Inc is looking to hire a Vice President to Manage Offshore Delivery Operations for its Offshore Centers located in Noida and Bangalore. The position is based out of Noida (NCR) and will require the person to work from office at least 4 times/week. An ideal candidate will be someone who has grown in their career in consulting organization and is self motivated, problem solver, strategic thinker, people person and excellent communicator. The responsibilities of the Vice President Offshore Delivery Operations will include leading all engineering and non-engineering teams and tasks required to ensure successful delivery of client projects and Mirketa products. The person will be responsible for Project P&L, Delivery Centers P&L, Employee Retention and Satisfaction Scores, Client Delivery Quality Score, Hiring, Employees Policies, Legal & Compliance, Organizational Culture and other aspects of business required to run an offshore delivery center in India. Detailed responsibilities will include:

• Continuously improve on organizational structure, processes and tools to support the efficient delivery of all projects
• Manage a high performing functional consulting team that is capable of running client discovery workshops remotely and in-person with client teams in US and Europe
• Manage a high performing technical team consisting of Engineers and Test Engineers that is capable of delivering well designed technical solutions in Salesforce, NetSuite ServiceNow, Azure, AWS, Mobile Development, eCommerce Platforms and other related technologies.
• Manage a team of Program Managers and Project Managers who are capable of leading complex fast moving projects
• Manage a portfolio of client projects to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Work with offshore PMO team to setup best practices for Delivery and Technical Design
• Manage project P&L
• Create statement of work, amendments and other client contracts
• Work with Accounting to ensure that all project billing is done accurately and in timely fashion
• Help Sales team with pre-sales activities by participating in Sales calls as a Salesforce solutioning expert
• Manage and groom a team of Salesforce Solution Consultants to lead discovery work
• Provide inputs on Organizational Structure
• Manage a 200+ people team – ensure that everyone in the team has a career plan and is being groomed to reach their top potential
• Lead emerging leader group to groom them into leaders who can take broader responsibilities
• Take ownership RFP responses
• Coach/Mentor team members on Planning, Communication, P&L Management, Team Management and other skills required to be successful in managing a project.
• When necessary Lead client workshops for requirements and process discovery as needed
• Lead Operations, HR and Hiring teams
• Bring in the best practices on People Management, Engineering Practices and Project Management Practices
• Review and provide guidance for business processes documentation
• Review system requirements including - Business Epics, User Stories, Data Flow Diagrams, Use Case Diagram, Business Entity Relationship Models, System Flow Diagram, UI Wireframes, User Personas, Class Diagrams etc.
• Participate in reviews and demos with the client to track ongoing development.
• Create and or review project execution plan and manage the development project
• Setup Organization Wide Metrics and run the organization based on metrics – provider organization dashboard to CEO and CFO
• Hire top talent in mid to senior management role; groom internal team members to reach to the next level
• Manage physical infrastructure – including office space, machines and other items required by offshore team
• Experience in leadership roles at large consulting companies is highly desired

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have 15+ years of experience in the industry
• Must have managed a team of 100+ people in the previous roles
• Must have experience working a senior solution consultant in onshore-offshore projects where you have led the solutioning team
• Must have experience grooming junior team members
• Must have extensive experience with Agile project management practices
• Must have experience setting up metrics for a delivery organization
• Must have technical background; hands-on development background in early stages of your career is highly desired
• Must have excellent written and oral communication; should have executive presence; should be able to read rooms and situation and act accordingly
• Must have experience leading large client meeting to drive discovery sessions for complex projects
• Experience in documenting client requirements using Business Workflows, ER Diagrams, UML Models, Epics and Stories
• Experience in setting up best practices for Development and Testing team
• Experience working on any SaaS product implementation, including Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamic etc
• Must have experience managing large enterprise clients (Fortune 1000 companis)
• Experience in Salesforce ecosystem is highly desired
• Excellent meeting facilitation skills and presentation skills
• Have technical background to understand the basic building blocks of the software
• Comfortable with working in a small startup environment with limited resources
• Must be able to work under pressure with tight timelines
• Must be able to think of solutions and influence people towards a solutions
• Nice to have: Salesforce Consultant certifications
• Must be able to create a new team with Generative AI focus, including the hiring of the VP of AI Offering.
• Must come from Consulting background
• Self-motivated individual who exhibits sense of urgency in completing tasks
• Must have an engineering degree and an MBA from one of the IIMs
• Must have a valid US B1 visa
