The IT Officer is responsible for maintaining and optimizing our BPO company’s IT infrastructure. Duties include troubleshooting, ensuring network security, and providing timely support to employees. Collaborating with other departments, the IT Officer contributes to the overall efficiency of our operations. Job Type Full-time Experience Level 3-5 years experience On-site/remote On-site Schedule Monday to Friday Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees the installation, configuration, commissioning and maintenance of hardware equipment, software applications, network systems, sever and access facility, CCTV and other IT systems
  • Responds to technical problems of network administration and hardware equipment
  • Tracks suspicious network, applications, and user behavior, and provides security incidental, detection and response reports
  • Develop and articulate comprehensive IT/Networking solutions tailored to client-specific programs, presenting them persuasively to facilitate business acquisition
  • Conducts regular audits of the IT infrastructure to ensure compliance with security standards and implement necessary enhancements.
  • Leads the preparation of technical solutions, project implementation, tests application controls, and user-acceptance testing
  • Designs and develops the company’s IT infrastructure strategy, considering business requirements and future growth plans, and conducts Security Awareness campaign
  • Assesses and communicates all security and control risks associated with network, server, and hardware equipment
  • Implements effective IT operation and IT risk management (including policies and procedures) based on industry-standard best practices related to disaster recovery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and security threats and issues, advises management team on their relative importance to the business setting
  • Willing to work in a shifting schedule including graveyard shift, as needed, for security monitoring hours coverage
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or similar bachelor’s degrees
  • 3-5 years of experience and strong knowledge in network fundamentals and architecture, server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, and firewall systems (firewall policy/rules), web filtering, forward traffic analysis, DHCP, DNS and VPN
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide immediate effective solutions
  • Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices, including data protection and vulnerability management; practical knowledge and compliance assurance experience with various legal data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPA) being highly desirable
  • Familiarity with storage solutions, such as SAN and NAS, as well as backup and disaster recovery methodologies
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
