Technical Project Manager

Job Title: Technical Project Manager Job Location: India (Remote) Job Overview: This position will work across the Information Technology departments to ensure collaboration, communication, visibility, and successful delivery of projects spanning from critical small scale to large complex projects associated with an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and software as a service (SaaS) technology environments. A successful candidate will demonstrate relevant skills and experience in scope management, scheduling and planning, risk and dependency management, issue tracking, and status reporting. This individual is expected to build and manage strong working relationships with all members of the project team and other stakeholders. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with internal departments ensuring they are up to date on current projects and initiatives including presenting an overall portfolio view of projects
• Ability to assess and apply the appropriate levels of project practice and engagement to achieve the project objectives being fulfilled by agile and non-agile teams
• Developing and implementing tools for tracking and managing project progress and resources
• Effectively facilitate communications to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and assist in tracking troubled tasks to help hold project team members accountable for delivery, including resolution approach and any potential impact to the project dates
• Conduct post-project reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in project execution and delivery.

• Education
• Technical Degree (Associate or BS in Information Systems, Data Management or Engineering) or Business Administration preferred
• Equivalent qualification and or experience can be considered
• Experience
• At least 5 years of experience managing technical projects with experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects
• Experience with projects across IT infrastructure and end-user services including cloud-based technologies and software as a service product, experience with software development projects is a plus
• Extensive experience building and managing project plans and work breakdown structures in Microsoft Project or equivalent project planning tools
• Project Management or Process Improvement Training (Agile training certifications, PMP Certification, preferred or working towards a PMP)
