Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Network Engineer L2 at COMnet Solutions (Global) located in Mumbai. The Network Engineer L2 will be responsible for network implementation, engineering, troubleshooting, security, and design. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to managing and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring network performance and security, troubleshooting network issues, and designing network solutions. Responsibilities Technical Skill - 1. Understanding of L2 Network Switching, routing and security polices y. 2. Implementation Experience of Switching - Vlan, LACP, STP (RSTP, PVST, MST), Trunk, ACL, Intervlan routing etc. 3. Understanding and Implementation Experience of Routing - Static, Dynamic Routing, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, VSP 4. Understanding of QoS, PBR, SDWAN and deployment on the ground for green field and brownfield sets ups 4. Implementation Experience in Firewall Configuration - Policies Configuration, NAT Rules, Security Profile, UTM , DDOS, SASE. 5. Implementation Experience in VPN technologies - IPSec, Site to Site, Remote Access VPN, SSL VPN, etc. 6. Implementation Experience in Wireless technology, Standalone and controller base AP installation knowledge of DNAC and Aruba central (Controller based access)7. understanding of Wireless AP, Controllers, Hardware Controllers, Cloud controller 8. Troubleshooting capabilities hop by hop from L1 to L7 so that can be adaptable to work in a NOC and independently work with client teams Other Skills: 1. Seeking candidates who are proactive learners and adapting to new technologies 2. Candidate should be able to work with multiple OEM (Cisco, HP, Aruba, D-Link, FortiGate, SonicWALL, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper.) 3. Self/Collaborative troubleshooting capabilities. 4. Must possess collaborative skills and the ability to effectively work within a team environment. 5. Ability to create and maintain documentation. (Network Diagram, HLD, LLD, Implementation documents, POA etc.) Working Area: Job assignment extends beyond a specific location and requires the capability to work across PAN India.
