Technical Project Manager - Applications & Integration

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both project management and data analytics, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.   This position will be a contract to perm, reporting to the Senior Manager and work type will be remote. Responsibilities:  1.Project Planning and Initiation:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Conduct project initiation activities, including risk assessment and mitigation planning.

2.Team Leadership:

• Lead a cross-functional team of developers, engineers, and integration specialists.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.

3.Execution and Monitoring:

• Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular status meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

4.Application Development Expertise:

• Leverage expertise in application development methodologies and best practices.
• Provide guidance and be a champion of Dev-Sec-Ops and proper release management of product versions.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in application development.

5.Integration Strategy:

• Develop and implement integration strategies for connecting diverse applications and systems.
• Work closely with integration specialists to design and implement seamless data flow across applications.

6.Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and scalability of applications and integrations.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of software solutions.

7.Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

8.Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries.
• Ensure alignment between project deliverables and business goals.

9.Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science).
• 10+ years of relevant experience collaborating with multi-functional teams on business analysis or project management, or software development in retail, supply chain or financial services industry.
• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on application development and integrations.
• Hands-on experience in Agile Project Management using Scrum or SAFe is necessary.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and integration patterns.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Relevant experience working with JIRA/Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet etc. is important in this role.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with GitFlow and Release Management and overall Dev-Sec-Ops principles is essential in this role.
• Experience with ITIL principles and handling Service Delivery (Incident, Problem and Change Management) with tools like ServiceNow is a plus.
