Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Coimbatore or Bangalore Responsibilities

• Take sketches or 2D drawings and transfer them to 3D in SolidWorks.
• Create layouts, detailed drawings, and BOMs as needed. Hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
• Provide timely communication on questions status and any other project-related items.
• Participate actively in project review meetings and show progress of work. Organized and confident in completing tasks.

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required. Master’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant industrial experience is required.
• Ability to take direction remotely and speak and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to articulate technical details in design review meetings.
• Strong understanding of basic principles of mechanical engineering and mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of proper fastener use.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and electromechanical devices.
• Background in tolerancing will be needed for design development and details.
• Good knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to take instruction and not deviate from it unless there is good reason.
